1. Introduction and Commitment
Voxi is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all its users. The protection of minors is a responsibility we take with the utmost seriousness. This Child Safety Policy outlines our strict rules and proactive measures to protect minors. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any content or conduct that exploits, endangers, or inappropriately involves minors. This policy is an integral part of our Terms of Service.
2. Age Requirement
Voxi is a platform designed exclusively for adults. By creating an account, users affirm that they meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from or direct our services to anyone under the age of 18.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
To ensure the safety of our community and protect minors, the following content and behaviors are strictly and explicitly prohibited. Engaging in any of these activities will result in immediate and permanent account termination and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement agencies.
3.1 Content Involving Minors
Users are strictly forbidden from posting, sharing, streaming, or distributing any content that includes individuals who are, or appear to be, under the age of 18 in the following contexts:
- Sexual Content: Any depiction of minors in a sexualized manner, including Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), nudity or partial nudity, sexually suggestive poses, or written content describing sexual acts involving minors.
- Violent or Harmful Content: Content showing minors engaged in or being subjected to violence, self-harm, bullying, abuse, or other dangerous activities.
- Illegal Activities: Depicting minors participating in illegal acts, including but not limited to drug or alcohol use, gambling, or criminal behavior.
- Personal Information: Sharing private information of minors, such as their full name, address, school, or contact details, without the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3.2 Prohibited Behaviors Targeting or Involving Minors
- Grooming: Any attempt to build a relationship with a minor to coerce or manipulate them into sexual or other illegal activities.
- Solicitation: Attempting to solicit inappropriate content from a minor or luring a minor off the platform for harmful purposes.
- Harassment and Bullying: Targeting any individual, especially a minor, with abusive language, threats, or harassment.
- Impersonation: Impersonating a minor or creating a profile with false information to appear underage.
4. Content Moderation and Enforcement
Voxi employs a combination of automated systems and human review teams to monitor and moderate the platform. We actively review user profiles, uploaded content (including images, videos, and text) to detect and remove violations of this policy.
Upon identifying a violation, we will take swift and decisive action, which includes:
- Immediate removal of the offending content.
- Permanent suspension and ban of the user's account.
- Reporting illegal content, especially CSAM, to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant law enforcement authorities.
Decisions regarding violations of this Child Safety Policy are final and not subject to appeal.
5. Reporting Underage Users and Harmful Content
We empower our community to help us maintain a safe platform. Voxi provides clear, accessible, in-app channels for users to report any content or account they suspect violates this policy, including profiles suspected of belonging to underage users. All reports related to child safety are treated with the highest priority. Our specialized safety team is committed to reviewing and processing these urgent reports within 48 hours.
6. Guidance for Parents and Guardians
We urge parents and guardians to be actively involved in their children's online activities. We encourage you to have open conversations about online safety and to use the parental control tools available on your devices. Voxi is not intended for use by minors, and we do not provide parental control features within the App.
